Cheaper Luggage Storage near KLIA 2

This post is intended for traveler especially those backpacker who come to Kuala Lumpur to find out where they can store their belonging at the cheaper rate at/near KLIA 2 besides Luggage Storage area in KLIA 2 which charge at higher rate.

As usual, we knew that the hotels provide temporary luggage storage for their customers and I found out that the Tune Hotel - klia2 is charge cheaper than Luggage Storage & Locker, KLIA2.

Below is the statement of Tune Hotel - klia2. Hope can help up travelers in money saving by storing their luggage when they want to travel in lighter carried weight. Of course, the security and method of the storage by Hotel and Locker is different. Be sure to ask for details.

• Luggage storage: RM5.00 per luggage (up to 3 days) and RM10.00 per luggage (from 4th day onwards). Condition of long-term luggage storage is that guests must have a confirmed future booking with Tune Hotel klia2

 It is estimated 10 mins walk (covered walkway) from KLIA 2 to Tune Hotel.

Around Hatyai City

With no much plan and by just some simple online research (on maps, some interest destination in Hatyai city), my friend (Albert) and I set off for our 1st Hatyai trip. Thanks also for my friends referral on their trip at here before, I had some targeted places to go and what to do at night.

Transportation Ticketing

As there is low airfare flight offered by AirAsia, we booked our flight ticket to Hatyai, but just the ticket to there only. We think of taking bus back to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia if there is no low cost flight ticket for return and we did so. The bus ticket is sales at 400 - 500 Thai Baht which can found purchase at the main street of Hatyai city (Niphat Uthit 2 Rd, Niphat Uthit 3 Rd), bought through travel agency found nearby.

Upon arrival at Airport

We take the budget transport -

Blue colored songthaew (Straightly go out from airport, found at the far end of the parking lot), charge 40 baht by fetch us to the Tune Hotel, Hatyai city.

The sweet and friendly receptionist were English spoken, so staying here won't be a problem in term of communication.

Ticketing for shows like Hansa Plaza-Cabaret Show (ladyboy show) and Thai Girls show can be purchase from travel agency as you can found around the main street of Hatyai city. The travel agency also sells transportation (buses) ticket to Malaysia and various Thailand tour package.
